Microsoft has added a new feature to the Windows 10 calendar app, which includes holiday-related pictures and weather forecasts. The feature is currently hidden by default and can only be enabled using Vivetool, a tool that allows users to test and modify beta builds.
The updated calendar app aims to make it more visually appealing and user-friendly. However, with Windows 10 set to fall out of support in October this year, Microsoft has confirmed that users should upgrade to Windows 11 to avoid losing service.
To enable the new feature, users can follow instructions provided by PhantomOfEarth, a user who has been testing beta builds and sharing their findings online. The steps involve downloading the latest Windows 10 Beta build, installing Vivetool, and using specific commands to activate the calendar app.
