Windows 10 Support Ending Soon, What’s Next?

Windows 10 support will officially end on October 14, 2025, but users can still use their PCs until then. However, Microsoft won’t provide updates, security patches, or technical support, leaving users vulnerable to malware and compatibility issues.

Rather than sticking with an unsupported Windows 10, experts recommend upgrading to Windows 11 if possible. Unfortunately, not all computers meet the requirements for Windows 11. Instead, Microsoft suggests checking trade-in value towards a new Windows 11 PC or recycling the device responsibly.

Users have alternative options, such as installing a different operating system or selling their PC. The latter can yield an acceptable price on online marketplaces like eBay or Craigslist. Alternatively, users can donate their PCs to those in need or repurpose parts for a new computer.

Those who prefer not to upgrade may want to explore these alternatives to extend the life of their Windows 10 PCs.
