Another bug affecting Windows 11 24H2 involves USB-connected devices such as scanners, printers, and modems. The issue occurs when these devices support the eSCL (eScanner Communication Language) protocol and fail to switch out of eSCL mode to USB mode, preventing the PC from discovering the device. Microsoft has blocked the update for computers with affected USB devices until the problem is fixed.
Microsoft has rolled out two bug patches in recent weeks to address some of the issues, but further bugs continue to appear. The company advises users not to manually install the update and instead waits for a fix.
