Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.4660 (KB5048808) to the Beta Channel, bringing several improvements and fixes for users who have opted-in for the latest updates.
In this build, users can expect changes to the File Explorer context menu, including labels added to previously unlabeled actions such as cut, copy, paste, rename, share, and delete. The Magnifier app has also been updated with buttons to reset zoom to fit the screen and to your last preferred magnification.
Additionally, Microsoft is deprecating suggested actions that appear when users copy a phone number or future date in Windows 11. These features will begin being disabled in this build.
The Beta Channel receives updates based on Windows 11, version 23H2 via an enablement package (Build 22635.xxxx). Features in the Beta Channel are rolled out gradually to selected Insiders, and users can turn-on the toggle to receive the latest updates as they become available.
Please note that features included in these builds may not be fully localized and will undergo changes over time. Users are encouraged to report any localization issues via Feedback Hub.
