Windows 11 Update Crashes PCs with XAML Issues

Microsoft’s latest update for Windows 11 has caused problems for some Enterprise users, rendering the Start Menu, taskbar, and Explorer.exe unresponsive. The issue primarily affects those running Windows 11 24H2 or 25H2 with a July 2025 cumulative update installed. Those affected may experience a black screen, system crashes, or a desktop without a taskbar.

Only Enterprise users are impacted by this patch, but Microsoft has not provided an easy fix yet. A reimage or registry edits may be necessary to resolve the issue. The problem is caused by XAML issues and affects a limited number of environments.
