The Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame Walk of Fame along Vel R. Phillips Avenue has undergone significant improvements, thanks to a $100,000 investment from Network Health. The upgrades include LED digital displays showcasing inductee videos and audio, new signage, and hanging banners celebrating the hall’s notable alumni.
Network Health, a Menasha-based company, partnered with the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame to enhance the walkway’s aesthetic appeal and attract more visitors. Milwaukee-based architecture firm RINKA designed the renovated display. The goal is to create an ultimate visitor attraction that highlights the city’s sports heritage.
Presidents from Network Health and the hall expressed enthusiasm for the updated walkway, which continues to draw people to downtown Milwaukee. The hall will celebrate its 75th anniversary in July 2025, having inducted over 150 prominent Wisconsin athletes, coaches, and sports icons since its founding in 1951. Notable inductees include Hank Aaron, Brett Favre, and Vince Lombardi.
