Blizzard has brought back a fan-favorite class from Diablo 3, the Witch Doctor, with the release of Season 7, titled Season of Witchcraft. The new season adds powers ripped straight from Diablo 3’s Witch Doctor class, including Zombie Bears, Firebat Servants, frog bombs, and piranha tornadoes. While there is no new class in the season, a new Blizzard news release reveals a ton of new Witchcraft powers that can be unlocked by completing new Whisper bounties.
These new powers are categorized into Eldritch, Psyche, and Growth & Decay, and can be used by any class. To unlock these powers, players must hunt down Headrotten and earn seasonal Reputation at The Coven. From there, they can access the Witches’ Altars to unlock their inner Witch Doctor.
The addition of the Witch Doctor class is a significant boost for fans who were missing this iconic character from Diablo 4. However, new competition arrives in the form of the original Diablo, which is coming to Xbox Game Pass just a week earlier.
