Woman Drops Civil Suit Against Jay-Z and Diddy Over Alleged Rape at Age 13

A woman who had filed a civil lawsuit against rappers Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging she was raped by them when she was 13 years old, has withdrawn her case. The Alabama woman’s attorneys announced the voluntary dismissal without providing any explanation.

Jay-Z denied the allegations and called the woman’s decision to drop the lawsuit “a victory.” He described the claims as a “fictional tale” that his lawyers had created as a “laughable” attempt to extract him from the lawsuit.

Sean Combs remains jailed awaiting a criminal trial on federal sex trafficking charges. He faces numerous sexual assault lawsuits, including those filed by Tony Buzbee, a Texas attorney who represents over 150 people who claim they were abused and exploited by Combs.

Combs’ lawyers stated that the dismissal of this lawsuit confirms that other cases against him are also baseless. They claimed that many of the accused individuals were “hiding behind anonymity” to file lawsuits with no merit, just like the woman in question.

Tony Buzbee has filed a wave of lawsuits against Combs and his associates, alleging they were drugged at parties in various locations. The rappers have responded by criticizing Buzbee and his firm as the “1-800-lawyer,” suggesting that accusers are seeking financial gain rather than justice.
