Wu-Tang Clan Announces Final Tour “Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber”

After three decades of creating iconic music and a martial mythology, the Wu-Tang Clan has signaled its possible end with the announcement of their final tour. The 27-date US tour, starting on June 6 in Baltimore, is part of “Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber.” Bandleader RZA said it’s a special moment to share music and culture with fans worldwide one last time.

This tour marks the end of an era for the nine-member group, which has delivered critically acclaimed albums like “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)” and “Wu-Tang Forever.” The group’s history is marked by both creativity and friction, with some members departing over the years. Notable solo releases from individual members, such as Ghostface Killah’s “Supreme Clientele” and Raekwon’s “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx,” are also considered hip-hop pinnacles.

The tour will feature support from Run the Jewels, a hip-hop duo consisting of El-P and Killer Mike. The group recently reunited for a Las Vegas concert residency in 2024, showcasing their ability to put aside differences. This April, they released “Black Samson,” an album with all nine members together again, though it is not officially considered part of the Wu-Tang Clan discography.

If these shows are indeed the group’s final performances, they will bring closure to a wildly creative and sometimes tumultuous career spanning over 30 years.
