The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025 is gaining momentum, with the names of several legendary wrestlers already confirmed. However, a lesser-known figure from the wrestling world could soon join the roster. According to sources, “The Ugandan Giant” Kamala is being considered for induction into the 2025 class.
A 32-year veteran when he retired in 2010, Kamala had a notable career spanning the 1980s and ’90s. He began his journey with WWE in 1984, feuding with Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan. Their rivalry was one of the most iconic in wrestling history, with Kamala serving as a major thorn in the side of both Hogan and the giant.
Kamala’s career took him to various promotions, including WCW, where he joined forces with the Dungeon of Doom. He also had sporadic appearances with WWE in the early 2000s and challenged Bryan Danielson for the Ring of Honor World Title in 2006. Despite his impressive resume, Kamala’s life was cut short due to health complications, including high blood pressure, diabetes, and COVID-19.
The news comes as over a month remains until the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025 is officially announced. With several names already confirmed, including Triple H, Michelle McCool, and Lex Luger, fans are eagerly awaiting the completion of the class. The addition of Kamala would bring attention to one of wrestling’s most beloved villains from the 1980s.
