WWE Legend Hulk Hogan Dies After Heart Attack at 71

Hulk Hogan, the legendary professional wrestler and WWE Hall of Famer, has passed away due to a heart attack, according to Pinellas County Forensic Science Center records obtained by Page Six. He was 71 years old.

The WWE Hall of Famer had a history of atrial fibrillation (AFib), an irregular heartbeat, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a type of cancer affecting white blood cells. However, it was not publicly known that he had battled cancer until now.

Hogan’s manner of death was ruled natural by the medical examiner’s office, although his current wife reported that his death occurred suddenly. His close friend Eric Bischoff stated that Hogan “sounded tired” and appeared weak during a visit just weeks before his death, saying that the wrestler “was so anxious to get back to work.”

Rumors had been circulating about Hogan’s health in the weeks leading up to his death, with some claiming he was on his deathbed. However, representatives for Hogan, his wife, and Bischoff denied these reports.

The WWE held a tribute to Hogan, giving him a 10-bell salute during “Monday Night Raw” and a video tribute on Netflix. His son Nick Hogan and fellow WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff were present at the event.
