Je’Von Evans secured his spot in the upcoming Heatwave event by defeating TNA World Champion Trick Williams in a thrilling match on Tuesday, Aug 19, 2025.
The highly anticipated bout saw both competitors showcase incredible skills, but it was Evans who emerged victorious. Despite Williams’ surprise attack from the top rope, Evans managed to fight back and capitalize on a distraction caused by the TNA World Champion’s attention being diverted towards Mike Santana in the luxury box.
In another notable match, Ricky Saints took down Jasper Troy with a pair of Tornado DDTs after displaying immense power, while Jordynne Grace made a memorable entrance by tearing through security to reach her opponent, Blake Monroe. The evening also featured intense performances from Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura in their Philadelphia Street Fight, as well as Chelsea Green’s attempt at brokering peace between USA and Canada.
Josh Briggs emerged victorious after countering Yoshiki Inamura’s signature diving splash with a huge moonsault through a table. Ricky Saints also delivered an impressive performance against Jasper Troy, showcasing his strength and agility.
