WWE Omits Street Profits from WrestleMania Main Event

WWE has announced 13 matches for WrestleMania 41, which will take place over two nights at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20. The list of participants includes several high-profile stars such as Randy Orton, Braun Strowman, and Alexa Bliss. However, the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Street Profits, are noticeably absent from the main event.

In an interview with It Is What It Is, Montez Ford defended their exclusion, stating that it gives other WWE superstars a chance to showcase themselves on WrestleMania SmackDown. Angelo Dawkins expressed his preference for being part of the ‘Mania card but acknowledged that sometimes roles need to be played. The duo will instead face Motor City Machine Guns on SmackDown.

The decision not to feature The Street Profits at WrestleMania has sparked debate among fans, with some expressing disappointment and others viewing it as a strategic move to fill out SmackDown’s three-hour show. With too many championships in WWE, the company is choosing to highlight certain titles on the main event show and use the secondary platform for other matches.
