WWE talent remains unsure about the length of WWE RAW on Netflix, according to a new report. Despite previous speculation that both WWE SmackDown and RAW would be three hours long, this has not been confirmed for the streaming version.
In an interview at the WWE RAW on Netflix Kickoff event, Triple H hinted at the show’s potential for increased content. “Now, with the biggest streaming service in the world as our partner, we become bigger than we have ever been before,” he said. “Netflix on January 6 is just the start. That officially is the road to WrestleMania in Las Vegas.”
While WWE talent was not informed of the exact length of RAW on Netflix during its last taping before Christmas, a source notes that Netflix has flexibility with their content. The show’s typical length has been two hours in recent months, and it had previously been three hours long from 2012.
WWE’s move to Netflix marks an exciting new chapter for the company, but details about the streaming version of RAW remain unclear.
