WWE RAW Recap: Hits and Misses for Main Event 2025’s Go-Home Show

WWE presented its go-home show for Saturday Night’s Main Event 2025 from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. The third episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix had a mix of highs and lows.

A notable miss was Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio, where Kingston’s attire looked more suitable for a street fight, and he lost the match. In contrast, Kevin Owens’ appearance sparked excitement when he declared his intention to support Sami Zayn in winning the Royal Rumble, adding depth to their storyline.

Unfortunately, Rhea Ripley announced her title match without much build-up, while PFC’s involvement with Damage CTRL remains unclear. On a positive note, Penta’s second WWE match against Pete Dunne showcased his growth as a competitor, and Seth Rollins’ win over Drew McIntyre was impressive, with Sami Zayn’s post-match run-in adding to the tension.

Honorable mentions included Jey Uso’s physical altercation with Gunther, CM Punk’s promo from the crowd, and a notable jab at Hulk Hogan. Overall, the episode had its share of hits and misses, but it laid the groundwork for an exciting Main Event 2025 event.
