WWE Rumors Roundup: What’s True and What’s Not?

WWE fans, rejoice! In this column, we’re taking a look at the latest pro wrestling rumors swirling around the WWE Universe. Remember, these are just rumors – take them with a grain of salt.

Rumor Alert!
A backstage segment between Cody Rhodes and R-Truth from SmackDown was originally planned but never aired. The reason behind it remains unknown.

Another notable rumor involves Bianca Belair’s impressive performance on last week’s SmackDown, along with praise for its writing, production, and camera work. WWE writer Ioannis Fillippides and producer TJ Wilson received credit for the segment.

However, some rumors surrounding Jade Cargill are unfounded. Fightful claims that her time on SmackDown was incident-free.

On the other hand, rumors about Shinsuke Nakamura leaving WWE have been thoroughly debunked by WWE sources. None of these rumors had any credibility.

In AEW Revolution, several wrestlers were injured during matches. Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher’s Spanish Fly off the top of the cage resulted in Ospreay being limping badly after landing on his hip. Swerve Strickland suffered a ruptured eardrum, while Mercedes Mone has a bruised larynx.

Christian Cage’s cash-in during AEW Revolution was allegedly pitched to WWE earlier in the week and was approved. According to Sean Ross Sapp, it was simply a matter of getting the contract out there quickly.
