WWE has taped the December 23 episode of RAW from Boston’s TD Garden, ensuring new episodes are in the bank for Christmas. This tape also featured a crucial match in the Women’s Intercontinental (IC) tournament.
Three women – Natalya, IYO Sky, and Alba Fyre – competed in a triple threat match. However, it was IYO Sky who secured the win. Her victory further boosted her momentum, building on her performance in WarGames during Survivor Series 2024.
In contrast to IYO Sky’s win, Kayden Carter faced Raquel Rodriguez and Zoey Stark in a previous triple threat match as part of the tournament. Stark ultimately won, advancing to the next round.
Early in the tournament, Lyra Valkyria defeated Zelina Vega and Ivy Nile. Dakota Kai also secured a spot by beating Katana Chance and Shayna Baszler.
The upcoming match will feature Dakota Kai against Zoey Stark, with the winner moving on to face Lyra Valkyria in the finals. The question remains: who will be the first-ever WWE Women’s IC Champion?
