Wyndham Clark Banned from Oakmont Country Club for Damaging Locker

Golf star Wyndham Clark has been banned from playing at Oakmont Country Club after damaging a century-old locker during this year’s US Open. The 31-year-old American golfer, who won the US Open in 2023 but missed the cut at this year’s event, was reportedly fined and ordered to pay damages.

According to Golf Digest, Clark will be barred from Oakmont property unless he fulfills several conditions, including repaying damages, making a charitable donation, and attending counselling sessions. The USGA has refused to comment on the matter.

Clark had previously apologized for his actions in June, stating that it was a “wake-up call” to get back on track. He will compete at this week’s Open Championship at Royal Portrush alongside Tom Hoge and Corey Connors.
