Microsoft is planning to release several Xbox games on non-Xbox platforms, including PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. According to insider NateDrake, Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator will be among the titles making the jump this year.
NateDrake also confirmed that an Oblivion remake, set to launch in June, may not be exclusive to Xbox. However, fans of Final Fantasy VII Remake can look forward to its release on both Xbox consoles and Nintendo Switch 2 in future years.
The availability of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PS5 and Switch 2 will mark a significant shift for Microsoft’s gaming strategy. With no official word yet, fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation on whether these titles will be available on the new platforms.
