Rapper Yella Beezy has been arrested and charged with capital murder following a grand jury indictment in connection with the 2020 death of fellow hip-hop artist Melvin Noble, also known as MO3. According to court documents reviewed by Entertainment Weekly, Conway allegedly hired Kewon White to kill Noble after a shootout on Interstate 35 in Dallas.
Conway’s bond was set at $2 million, while White has been serving a nine-year sentence for pleading guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Conway previously faced charges of unlawful carrying of a weapon and possession of marijuana, which were later dismissed.
The rapper is best known for his hit song “That’s on Me,” but his career has been marred by controversy, including arrests for sexual assault and child endangerment in 2021, which were also dismissed.
