Russia’s former opposition leader Alexei Navalny’s widow, Yulia Navalnaya, has accused President Vladimir Putin of a cover-up over his husband’s death in an Arctic penal colony. One year after Navalny’s official cause of death was attributed to natural causes, Navalnaya is revisiting the circumstances surrounding her husband’s demise. Navalny died last February while serving time for embezzlement charges at a remote prison facility. His supporters are paying tribute by visiting his Moscow grave on the anniversary of his passing.
